Taiwan Mengharamkan Indomie

Biro Kesihatan Taiwan mendapati Indomie dari Indonesia mengandungi bahan pengawet utama yang digunakan dalam kosmetik.

Laporan pemeriksaan rasmi diterima kelmarin, terkejut apabila mendapati bahan penambah makanan non-regular “hydroxyl benzoic acid methyl ester” dikesan dalam pakej produk kicap . Mee perasa lada termasuk juga ditemui mengandungi bahan pengawet “acid” berlebihan.

(Taipei 9 News), Taipei County Health Bureau of Laboratory instant noodles in Indonesia Indomie, found to contain irregularities in the main preservatives used in cosmetics, to recall Indomie products.

Oleh itu Taiwan telah mengharamkan penjualan Indomie dan meminta pekedai yang menjualnya menarik balik jualan mereka.

Syarikat pengeluar Indomie di Indonesia PT Indomie mengatakan syarikat yang mengeksportIndomie ke Taiwan adalah bukan dari syarikat rasminya.

Manakala Pengawas Ubatan dan Makanan di Indonesia mengesahkan Indomie mengandungi “hydroxyl benzoic acid methyl ester” tetapi mempunyai jumlah yang sedikit.Tetapi jika dimakan secara berterusan boleh menyebabkan muntah-muntah dan barah.

Di Malaysia juga, Menteri Kesihatan akan mengkaji kandungan Indomie yang dijual di Malaysia. Pihak kementerian sedang mengambil sampel Indomie.
